After 55 years in business, we remain at the forefront of Malta’s domestic, commercial and industrial cleaning sector under the leadership of Claudine Ellul Sullivan, the second generation and daughter of founder Emanuel Degiorgio, as well as the commitment of Bad Boy Cleaners’ almost 1,000 staff members.

Our Dedicated Staff
Our workforce is our backbone. The success of Bad Boy Cleaners would not be what it is without the dedication and commitment of our ever-growing staff. Our janitors are carefully selected, screened, and trained not only to have a thorough understanding of the products we use and procedures we have perfected over the years but also on ancillary subjects, such as GDPR, ensuring clients’ data is always protected.
We are proud to be diverse. We are conscious of employing individuals with the right attitude, work ethic, skill set, and corporate image for Bad Boy Cleaners, but moreover, we are proud to be an inclusive organisation that embraces diversity among its staff. We believe this expands our knowledge and advances our way of thinking, and we are humbled that this has been recognised by the National Commission for the Promotion of Equality (NCPE), who awarded us with the Equality Mark certification.

The Founder
Emanuel came from humble beginnings, as he spent his early childhood selling magazines at the Valletta market, a city very close to his heart. From a young age, Emanuel strived to make a living for himself and his wife, so they decided to move to Canada in hopes of a better life. During their time away, Emanuel worked as a janitor, this was the initial inspiration behind what we know today as Bad Boy Cleaners. Although it was not always easy, Emanuel launched the first cleaning company on the island, and 54 years later his idea has grown to be Malta’s largest & longest-running cleaning company.
In June 2023, Emanuel sadly passed away but his legacy will live on in our hearts. He was a pioneer, a visionary, a leader & a great boss.
